The person in the mirror

You think you know me well.
You are wrong, I am afraid.
Trying to read a person like a book,
Is an undesirable human trait.

To assume anything from my exterior,
Would be a grave folly.
This simple approach fails completely,
With yours truly.

Forget about me, let's talk about you.
Are you familiar with your every terror?
Do you really think you know all about the person,
Who looks back at you in the mirror?

The Devil is grinning

All is fine in hell.
The fires are burning.
The sinners are getting fried.
And the Devil is grinning.

These days the guilty come in aplenty.
No dearth of crimes. No way.
The lines outside the doors of Heaven
Are shrinking by the day.

These times, you can't tell sinners by their looks.
They come from many feathers and leaves.
Suits, Uniforms and Legal Robes
Outnumber your regular robbers and thieves.

All is fine in hell.
The fires are burning.
The sinners are getting fried.
And the Devil is grinning.
